Since I’m not well known enough to be tagged in this little game I decided to take it upon my self to start my own. It looked like too much fun and I didn’t want to miss out.

RANDOM THINGS ABOUT MYSELF

1. I like the smell of scotch tape, it reminds me of Christmas. When I bought my first Macbook at the end of last year I was pleasantly surprised to find that it smelled like scotch tape. The smell is starting to fade though.
2. I bite my nails due to nervousness.
3. I love a bargain. I just recently acquired a bag full of nail polish for free!
4. Ever since I was a kid I’ve had an obsession with stationary products. Pens, paper, post-its. I love them all!
5. I prefer pen and paper to a keyboard.
6. When I was a kid I broke my left wrist because my older cousin wanted to try out wrestling moves. Bad idea!
7. I have poor circulation. My hands and feet are always like ice cubes.
8. I’m not very skilled at it but I love to dance and sing!
9. I love and hate the way that nori (seaweed) from onigiri (rice balls) sticks to your lips when you eat it.
10. I don’t like sake (Japanese rice wine) but I love soju (Korean rice liquor)
11. I believe that I was Okinawan in a past life.

What is your dream car?
My dream car for some reason in a Volkswagen Jetta. They’re compact and fuel efficient. If I can’t have that I want a scooter.

What are some of your quirky qualities?
I make a lot of weird faces depending on my mood and what I’m thinking about and I ask questions all the time to everyone.

What is your favourite ice cream?
I have to answer this in two parts. My favorite Canadian/Jamaican ice cream is grapenut and my favorite Japanese ice cream is beni imo (sweet potato)

Sweet or savoury?
Savoury. I’ve been trying to avoid sweet things lately. Would much rather enjoy a tasty treat full of flavour than something sugary.

Cardio or weight training?
Cardio. Not a fan of training but I do enjoy yoga

Favourite book or magazine?
My most recent favorite is The Alchemist by Paulo Coelho but I’m also a big fan of Choke by Chuck Palahniuk

How do you like to relax and unwind?
A nice warm cup of tea of coffee and a good book. Maybe some incense burning as well

What’s your fondest childhood memory?
Drinking a go-kart for the first time. I wasn’t very good at it but it was fun.

Who is your celebrity crush?
Ryan Gosling, no question. I like actors that can show that they can do different roles, once an actor gets typecast I get bored *cough* Johnny Depp *cough*

Coffee or Tea?
Usually I’ll pick coffee

What are your 3 biggest goals you hope to achieve this year?
I’d really like to get a few pieces published in English publications here.
Save money so that I can pay for school in the fall.
Stay inspired and motivated everyday
